Beaver Creek Farm Sanctuary Spring and Summer Events 2015

Beaver Creek Farm Sanctuary is fortunate and grateful to have a community of supporters that help us fulfill our sanctuary mission. We work hard together to educate the public about dog rescue, and to rescue farm and companion animals in need.  This year brings us even more opportunities to spread the good words and animal love. Here are just some of the Spring Summer events 2015 we are currently planning.

Adoptable Mexico Rescued Dogs Arrive in Canada

Date: Saturday 18 April 2015
Venue: Hamilton Airport
We’re very excited to announce the Mexico dogs will be landing late Saturday night and we’ll be anxiously waiting their arrival. They will spend a couple of days at BCFS before going to the Vet then foster homes – read more about Minnie and Morita here.

Volunteer Meetup at BCFS

Date: Sunday 19 April 2015
Time: 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm
Venue: Beaver Creek Farm Sanctuary
This is not an open house for the public (see below), its our regular get-together for current volunteers and potential volunteers interested in helping BCFS.   Our special guest for the April Meetup is Jane from Mexico, who will share her fascinating stories of rescuing dogs internationally. Attendees will also have an opportunity to meet the Mexico dogs before they are adopted! We will have coffee, tea and cold drinks. We welcome treats to share too. If you a new volunteer, please bring a volunteer application, which you can download here.

Time: 10am-11:30pm Sat and 10am-4pm Sunday
Venue:  Ridge Road in Ridgeway Ontario
Beaver Creek Farm Sanctuary will have a booth at Ridgeway Summer Festival in Ridgeway this year. Our sponsors for this event are Dale Baer and her spouse Donna – we are grateful for their kindness!  The Ridgeway Summer Festival is free to attend and offers a variety of entertainment for the entire family. We’re recruiting volunteers to set up, tear down and man the booth in shifts throughout these two days. We will be bringing some of our sanctuary and foster animals to the event that will need care. We also need good spokespersons to help educate the public about animal welfare and rescue.

  1. Hello, I just found your website and reading the stories about all the rescues and the wonderful animals brought tears to my eyes.

I am very interested in volunteering, helping, maybe adopting…
Also, I am a Reiki Master and would love to learn how to give Reiki to animals too.

Can I visit your Sanctuary? I live in Fort Erie. I will fill out the application form.
    thanks
