Is there such thing as love at first sight? Who knows, but we do know there is definitely such a thing as “super immediate mushy love” on Gotcha Day! Fletcher had met his new family just once before – a meet and greet is part of the adoption process – but you’d think Fletcher had known them a lifetime considering the adoring eyes and big paw-ful hugs he was wrapping around John and Jenifer!
Canadian Happy Tail for Lebanon Lab Fletcher
His new furever family, Jenifer and John report on Fletcher’s first night at home:
He was an angel, he slept with us in our bed. He’s had no accidents in the house yet, but he’s a little scared of the cats and they are scared of him but they sniff each other and run away. He’s settled in nicely.
Fletcher’s happy tail marks the successful placement of all our adoptable dogs rescued with the collaboration of BETA Lebanon, and we thank them for providing us with the opportunity to work with organizations internationally. Dog over-population is a global concern, and working together to educate dog owners everywhere is our mutual, prime directive.
