Beaver Creek Farm Sanctuary is not just the beneficiary – we’re going to be there and be counted at the Tack Swap and Sale! Come on over Saturday, December 13 from 11am to 3pm at Sanderro Farms, 261 Sawmill Road, Pelham , ON L2R 6P7 .
Beaver Creek will have a collection of sexy cool logo swag at the event, including “Who Rescued Who?” tee shirts and BCFS ball caps. Plus a vintage collection of leather wear, super deep discounted dog food, and of course horse tack to swap and sell.
New volunteers and experienced dog foster caregivers will both benefit from attending Dog Foster Workshop Saturday, October 25 at Beaver Creek Farm Sanctuary, from 12noon to 1pm. Followed by hands on practice in group walk with BCFS Foster Dogs.
Sunday, October 26 marks our second Beaver Creek Farm Sanctuary Open House, and we’re looking forward to welcoming our friends new and old! From 10am to 4pm, we’re bringing together our far flung foster dogs, their dedicated caregivers, plus the animals who reside here for hobnobbing, lots of frolics, and one-on-one good times.
Our friends and fans had so much fun, and we were able to help so many more rescued animals like Cookie, Ling Ling and Tia, we just had to do it again! Beaver Creek Farm Sanctuary is holding their second Fall Facebook Auction 2014 to help raise funds and care for our permanent residents, to continue rescuing more animals, and spread the good word about adopting animals in need. 100% of the Facebook Auction proceeds go directly to helping our animals. The Lincoln County Humane Society will be holding their annual Tail-Waggin’ Walk-a-Thon this Saturday, October 11, 2014 and Beaver Creek Farm Sanctuary is right there in support of the initiative. We’re going to help our friends in the rescue community raise funds to cover the needs of the shelter animals and ensure they get the love and care that they need during their stay there. You can help just by spreading the word!
And of course you can take part in the Walk-a-thon with a canine companion, a human friend or meet a fellow rescue supporter right at the event. Pledge forms can be picked up from Lincoln County shelter, and online donations can also be made here on the LCHS Canada Helps page
It was a beautiful warm September day when Steven Parr from Cogeco TV came to shoot a piece at Beaver Creek Farm Sanctuary. Its a heartwarming story and worth a watch!
We’re gearing up for our open house on Aug 9 starting at 2pm and running straight through till Aug 10 at 6pm.
We are welcoming kids, pets and camping. We ask that people bring a donation of pet food, dish to share or something to sell at our garage sale.

We had our first hard frost last night and it got down to -5C overnight. In the morning the horses were very excited to enjoy the cool weather. Even our blind pony Splash raced around the field. She is an inspiration!
