Big Red Rhodesian Bentley is Off to Furever Adventures!

Gone for Bentley are the hours pent up in a crate; gone for him are anxiety-ridden days and nights due to owner insecurities. Here come fun filled hours in parks, running alongside his equally energetic doggy brother, and attentive training from his new-to-him furever mum and dad.

Here’s a little happy tail snippet they sent to us the morning after Bentley’s adoption ….

Wanted to give you a quick update on how last night went… one word: amazing!

Oak andBentley played non stop until about 9…went for a good long walk (Bentley did great!) then bed at 10:30. We had no accidents and solid poops outside! Bentley slept in bed with Mark and I, then finished off the morning in his own bed. Bentley has also already learned that when he comes inside he must sit on the mat and get all four paws wiped down. He’s so smart!

Bentley has blended with us flawlessly; it’s like he’s always been here.  I’ve also never seen Oak so pooped out!
More updates to come, but had to let you all know how our first night went as a family.
Kisses and licks from Oak and Bentley.

Warms the heart to know that our Big Boy Bentley has nothing but blue skies in his future now! With special thanks to Dahlia Ayoub of Mighty Mutts who helped introduce Sara and Mark to Beaver Creek Farm Sanctuary; to Natures Logic and Cani-Source who provided us with excellent food to help Bentley look and feel his best; and to the tireless volunteers that make adoptions happen – we could not do it without you all!

  1. i am so happy for Bentley. When I met him I fell in love with him but knew he needed a really high energy environment. He is just sweet and friendly and active.
Please hug him for me, and have fun with the big guy!
Thanks to you and also to the BCFS who do such a wonderful job caring for pets and people both!

    1. Hi Pam–

Just gave Big Ben a hug from you! What a lovely, sweet, and kind dog. He makes us laugh all the time with his antics!

BCFS is incredible! Kudos to the WHOLE team…especially volunteers who helped train Bentley.

  2. I’M SO SO HAPPY! Bentley, all my wishes for you have come true! I knew BCFS would find you the right family and a brother too! You deserve it! Be always happy!

    1. Hi Gayle– we are just as happy as you are! His brother Oak really needed a friend to play with (just like the video of Bentley and Gus). They sleep snuggled together, rarely leave each other’s side…they come as a package deal !

With great gratitude; BCFS has changed out family…Bentley was defiantly WORTH saving.

Thanks Gayle for the comment…will be sending updates soon!
